Queenswood introduce Voiteq technology to improve service levels

Queenwood Natural Foods have recently introduced Voiteq picking technology into their warehouses. This is part of the companies overall strategy to invest and update internal systems to improve service levels and availability.

The Voiteq headset picking technology is being used within the warehouses to improve accuracy and serviceability. Queenswood pickers wear headsets which tell them the item locations and asks them to read back the final 4 digits of the bar code, this ensures that they have picked the correct item. Using technology like this reduces the risk of human error and improves the levels of service customers receive.

The introduction of technology to aid the operations at Queenswood also gives the business complete traceability. If picking errors occur or stock issue arise, it will be easier to identify why and resolve the issue. This is something that in previous years, Queenswood have not had the ability to do.
